Q. What is QuickerWit?
A. QuickerWit is a free service to help you find software and hardware here in the UK. It gives web sites, UK phone numbers and fax numbers for over 2000 software publishers and hardware manufacturers. It lists every product review published in the major UK computer press between 1994 and 2004.
Q. Where did you get your information from?
A. In January 1989 we started indexing articles in UK computer magazines. Every month we scanned every page of the leading PC titles, logging new products and releases as they came to market. We also carefully checked prices and supplier phone numbers.
We stopped indexing in December 2004.

Q. I see a reference to a review. How can I view the article?
A. You need a back issue of the magazine in order to refer back to the original article. Some of the articles are also available on-line and so you might want to try searching the publisher's web site. We currently provide links to these sites, but not to the individual articles.
